| Program Freezing when importing large dwg files |

| I have been trying to import the geometry of a large theatre space which has been extracted from the architectural Revit file, simplified and saved as a .dwg file.
Every time I try to add the file to an empty workspace in EASE I can see it in the 3D viewing window but the program freezes and no longer responds regardless of how long I leave it. The dwg file is ~5.98MB.
Has anyone had similar issues with complex geometry? Is there a limit of what EASE can handle? |

| Update....!
I resolved the issue (thanks to Tim @ Guzbox for your assistance) by resetting the UCS to downstage centre in autocad before importing to EASE.
For some reason the Revit file had the coordinates set to (approx) X=56km, Y=39km, which I hadn't previously noticed (or even considered).
Thought it was worth updating here incase anyone else has the same issue in the future. |
