| Hi!
I want to measure Rasti/STI on a Voice evacuation alarm system through the fire mans alarm mic by using a cd containing modulated speech.
Is it possible to use this modulated speech as refernce/stimilus signal to measure the rasti value?
I cant use the original stimilus from easera since the voice system doesn't have a signal/line input for this.
thanks for any info
best regards

| Hi Robert,
at present this is not possible directly. However, if you have the signal in a wave format, you could just record the voice system output. Afterwards loads this file into EASERA as well as the stimulus file and divide one by the other in the frequency domain (deconvolution).
That will remove the signal from the recording and give you an impulse response. In EASERA you can calculate STI, RaSTI and equiv. STIPa from this IR.
