>I have some problems when I try to do the example that appears at the page 263 of the EASE 4.0 tutorial guide. I select the faces (f4 & f6, f10, f11 &f12), then select the loudspeaker (main) etc…. when I do ray trace the result is a lot of rays come out of the room, and nothing similar to the picture shown in the guide.
I'm curious whether your room is constructed properly.
It almost sounds like the surfaces are inverted.
It's not hard to build a room inside out.
Go to the view room RT menu and make sure that the reverberation time is as expected.
If it's a very low number you may have the surfaces on the outside of the room and the inside made of all absorbers or something odd like that.
The inside surface of a room is yellow when selected and the outside is white.
You can easily invert each surface by highlighting the face then clicking the right mouse button and selecting *Invert* from the menu.
Hope this helps.
