It would be great to have the ability to define custom scattering factors (for each 1/3) for materials without assigned scattering data. According to my research, it should be rather somehow the opposite of a defined S-curve. I would be very happy if you could put it on the first position on your wish list.

Maybe there is a way (not even subtle) to write down personal this values?

Thank you for your feedback and for taking the time to provide it.

We are collecting all of your ideas, wishes, and suggestions and evaluating them along with other customer feedback to get a better understanding of which features are most in demand. This will help us prioritize which features to work on in the near future.

Regarding the in EASE implemented S-curve for scattering please see also this article:

Thanks for your reply. I read the article when it came out. The S-curve is fine when you have room with scatter surfaces. Often in modern smaller room the situation is rather the opposite - then you have to consider a larger scattering for lower frequencies (due to the size of the surfaces and related diffraction) and a fairly low scattering for high frequencies (for example for glass even 5% for frequencies above 1 kHz).

Currently I have to run the simulation twice - once for the lower and once for the higher scattering coefficient and somehow combine the results.

Yes, I agree. As a workaround, you could create “small room” materials with appropriate scattering coefficients.

Like absorption coefficients, scattering coefficients can also be changed in a project. I think it's a must feature. You should consider it. Smile
