Hi,

Where's the speaker database located?

Is it possible to add the complete database by dumping it in its specific location as it was on 4.4?

Thanks!

Hi Luis,

the EASE 5-FE speaker database can be downloaded from here:
https://www.afmg.eu/en/ease-5-fe-loudspeaker-database
Then it must be imported into EASE via "GLL Import" on the Loudspeakers tab of the main module.

Thanks Frank,

I mean, where in my hard drive EASE 5 store such database, and if I can just dump the whole database there as it was done on 4.4.

Importing it by GLL import does not let me import the whole folders at once

I guess there is no way to import it completely but per folder?

Hi Luis,

Yes, you can import several brands or the entire database at once.

Thanks Frank.

Not with the import GLL button though. My guess (once again) is that by moving all the database directly to the corresponding folder, which circles around to my original question: where is that folder located?

Hi Luis,

the imported speaker data are not stored directly in the file system but in a NoSQL database (MongoDB).

BTW: the downloaded data zip files can be imported directly without extracting before.

Luis,

Make sure you are using the latest version of EASE 5-FE. In earlier versions it was not possible to import the whole database at once.
