Dear All,

after a Windows 10 update, suddenly EASE refuse to open! and i get this message:

"windows cannot access the specified device path or file. you may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item"

I tried several things as follow:

1- Disable antivirus and firewall => Didn't work!
2- Right click on Run As Administrator => Didn't work!
3- File path shortcut is correct not changed=> Didn't work!
4- Enter Windows through Administrator account => Didn't work!
Enter windows in SafeMode EASE WORKS!!!!

I have searched in the internet about this issue and found that the latest Windows update cased a lot of problem worldwide! there are many suggestions posted but unfortunately, no success.

the strange part is EASE GLL Viewer and all other software are working well! but when it goes to EASE 4.4 it stops and that warning window appears with EASE path at the top.

How to solve this Windows ugly problem? any help? did anyone experience similar problem and solved it?
