I am a new user in EASE 4.3, the answer might be obvious but I tried to find the answer in tutorial and user manual without success.

I created a Line array (EAW NT720) from the EAW own software, exported as EASE format and imported ASCII, then converted into .spk format. All works very well.

My problem is: I don't know where is the Point of Reference of the spk file according to its physical box. There is no associated case file. Is it at the "Pick Point" ? or at the center front of the array ? or - as the polar response suggests - at the center front of the top box ?

Need this info to correctly place the array in the hall. Thanks.

Joe Fustolo from EAW gave me this info:

For the EASE export what we have been using is to place the array at the pick point height. Ideally yes it is at the front center of the top box but that could be difficult to find or figure out. The difference between the two locations is relatively minor and should not interfere nor harm the intended coverage of that array.

I`ve Been having a similar problem; let`s say i want to add a some vertec 4889 boxes; I`ll use JBL array calculator to set the angles for every box depending on the area of coverage I need; Now my question is: having this data from the array calculator, how do I enter this data in the speaker properties so the curvature of the array is right?

Not really a similar problem at all. JBL has developed a DLL where you can put those values from their spreadsheet into the setup for the DLL in EASE. See the picture here.
