Help with Measurement Practices

I have an application where I need to take broadband measurements of installed speakers.

My main focus is on the direct response of the speaker and not so much of how it performs overall in the environment, however, I would still like to gather measurements containing the room as well.

Is there a way to get all this information with only 1 measurement? I know I could window out part of the impulse, but is this the best way? And what would I use for the split time? (I am still unsure of exactly what the split time is)

I would also like decent resolution of both high and low frequencies, and since EASERA does not support FPPO, should I take two measurements with two different sample rates? Is this is the best option? Is there a way to splice or overlay the data to show to the client without the distortion that occurs close to Nyquist? My goal is to get the most accurate information as efficiently as possible with the amount of time I have.

Any information that could be provided would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Devin
