| I am modeling a room with SketchUp for later simulation in EASE. Once imported, I click on "Check holes" and there are no issues. I verify in "Check data" that everything is functioning correctly, and there are no errors regarding duplicate vertices or missing surfaces. However, when I uncheck the "Room Open" option, many walls remain open. None of the simulation rays stay within the enclosure. Is there any way to solve this directly in EASE? I have tried reversing faces both in SketchUp and EASE, but neither option seems to work.
I look forward to your response. Thank you very much. Farah. |

| Hi Farah,
Would it be possible to send us your project to support@afmg.eu to further narrow down the issue?
Please pack the project in EASE before sending. To do so select "Pack Project" from the EASE Main windows File menu.
Regards,
Silke |

Hi Farah, thank you for your detailed explanation. It seems like you've already checked for errors in SketchUp and EASE. If reversing faces didn't solve the issue, I suggest double-checking measurements and assigned materials in SketchUp. If the problem persists, reach out to EASE support or their community for further assistance. Good luck with your modeling and simulation! |
