| I'm starting a new project from in imported .dxf file. I need to open the Show Face Table tab, but each time I click on it I get a run-time error. Same with all other "Table" tabs.
Once I click on any of the Table tabs, the program locks up, and I have to shut it down to start over.
The error comes as an EASEMain pop-up. The message says:
Run-time error '-2147417851 (80010105)':
Method '~' of object '~' failed
I'm running EASE 4.4 on a Win10 laptop.
What is causing this? Is there a fix?
Thank you,
mf |

| Sometimes it happens that locally stored EASE settings get corrupted for various reasons. If you are using the latest version of EASE, press the Win key and type EASE Cleaning in the search box, then click on the EASE Cleaning Wizard application.
If you do not have the latest version of EASE, then download the EASE Cleaning Wizard from our website at
https://www.afmg.eu/en/ease-4x-cleaning-wizard
to your Windows Desktop. Extract the EASE Cleaning Wizard and run the application.
Select all the check boxes and then press the Go! button. EASE should now start normally. |

The error message you are receiving in EASE suggests that there is an issue with the software that is preventing it from generating the Show Face Table, and potentially other table tabs as well.
To troubleshoot this issue, you can try the following steps:
Ensure that you are using the latest version of EASE. Check the EASE website or contact their support team to see if there are any updates available.
Check that your .dxf file is compatible with EASE. Make sure that the file is in the correct format and does not contain any errors or unsupported elements.
Check your system's hardware and software requirements. Make sure that your computer meets the minimum system requirements for running EASE.
Try running EASE as an administrator. Right-click on the EASE shortcut and select "Run as administrator" to see if this resolves the issue.
Try running EASE in compatibility mode. Right-click on the EASE shortcut, select "Properties," then select the "Compatibility" tab. Choose an earlier version of Windows and try running EASE in compatibility mode. |
