| Hi,
Carrying on from the discussion around object functionality now being covered through the use of selection sets. I would like to raise a feature request to bring the create 3D shapes functionality from EA4 into EA5.
This had many uses in EA4 but the most obvious one was for quickly creating columns based on a radius. Having to draw circular columns using polygons and then extrude, then select each face to add to a selection set is tedious.
Could we please have a similar functionality of the create 3D shapes from EA4 added to EA5 with the option for a shape to automatically be assigned to a new selection set on creation please?
Thanks. |

| Thanks Sam,
I'm going to put in a +1 here as well.
I'm particularly missing the Insert > Create Shape 3D > Cupola and Cylinder functions.

| Hi Sam,
Thatīs perfect. This type of positive constructive feedback is very helpful to us. It is also good that you created a separate topic in the forum. Thumbs up!
Just as it used to be the case in our Early Adopter Program, the feedback provided via forum or directly to us via e-mail feeds directly our product management board. This is were features are prioritized for development. So it is important to us that, if you miss anything, that you let us know. This way this feature might go up in priority, if others users also need it.
Our Customer Success Team also monitors the support and forum requests for the creation of support materials.
Best,
Pedro |
