In EASE 5-FE a DWG import is provided instead. If you use SketchUp for your 3D drawings, just export the model from SketchUp as DWG file.

Frank,
DWG import/export in sketchup is available for subscription version only.
The free only able to do SKP.
And why it's eliminated in newest version ?
IMHO and FYI SKP also now more popular nowadays among architect as well.
Please keep the SKP import/export feature available.
Thank you

The DWG Format is a standardized and one of the most widely adopted format.
It's supported natively by several programs an non-natively by many others.
That's why decided to support DWG first. Also it avoids compatibility problems, which often occured between former SKP versions.

You can open your skp with SktetchUp Online (https://app.sketchup.com/app?hl=es) and then export it to dwg.

Anyway, I agree with you, having removed the skp import is a serious mistake. I hope they implement it again...[/url]

I would like to add that since version 5.52, tags created in SketchUp are now also imported into EASE 5-FE and saved as Selection Sets.
