I understand EASE can simulate acoustic in room. But, can EASE simulate acoustic of loudspeakers in open area?

Yes, EASE can be used for open spaces as well, but no outdoor effects like wind are considered.

AFAIK the "listening area" which is there by default is just a listening area, in an open space. There are no walls there, it just defines the area which you want to cover. Like if someone made a big square on the ground outdoors. If that's the confusion.
