| Dear Oriol,
Thank you for your interest in Evac! At the moment AFMG is moving forward full-steam with the next major version of EASE, and will get back to Evac as soon as we can.
In the end of this year we will release the Early Adopter version of EASE 5. This version will allow users to start getting familiar with the software that will become EASE 5. It will also allow users to provide our development team close feedback about the next features that in their view would be most important to be implemented. Perhaps in addition to Evac you also use EASE in your daily work?
If you are register for AFMG News and select “special product offers” you will be informed about the EASE 5 Early Adopter version coming still this year. EASE 5 release is expected to occur late summer next year.
Of course, please do not hesitate to get in touch to share your ideas about Evac with us at any time, through support@afmg.eu or sales@afmg.eu.
Kind Regards,
Pedro Lima |

| Hi,
Any schedule for new release.
it would be useful to add features like,
- include speaker ID/Titles in the map and report.
- Noise levels in dB(A).
- Generate S/R ratio in dB(A).
- and more improvements
Thanks,
Suren |

| Noise Levels can already be entered as A-weighted. See page 45 of the User's Guide.
What do you mean by "Speaker ID/Titles" Please give an example of how this would be helpful. |

| Hi Bruce,
Noise Levels in A-weighted - This info is not available in user guide, i also checked with AFMG support, they confirmed it is not possible to have Noise Levels in A-weighted.
Speaker ID/Titles - its like SPK-1A , SPK-2A , SPK-1B, SPK-2B..... so on
when working on large projects with A-B systems, where there are many rooms with many speakers, it is essential to identify speakers with an unique ID/Title. this will help to easily identify speakers for design and construction.
Thanks

| Hi Suren,
Bruce is also from the AFMG technical support team.
He refers to the User's Guide page, where the location of the default noise files is explained. He is right, there are indeed default A-weighted noise files in the data base, I gave you a misleading answer. I thought you wish to have a button or something like that, you can change your noise level from unweighted to A-weighted and this indeed does not exist in the current version of EASE Evac.
You can either load (or enter) a weighted noise signal or an unweighted one and can only choose between weighting when importing (or entering) a new noise file.
I will explain to you the different default noise weightings via eMail.
Best Regards
Silke |
