Hi guys,

I'm having a problem with a room. First of all it shows the double of total surface as supposed to be, and then the volume when I try to close the room appears negative.

I have tried many things as changing the orientation of the faces, but then it says there are holes in one of the faces that I can not close, and the problem persist. Also i tried by creating a new project but same result. I changed the coordenates on the second one to see if there was a problem with that. nothing at all.

Thank you in advance!

You need to change the orientation of all faces so they are facing in (the yellow side) instead of out of the room. The easiest way to correct this is to reverse the orientation of one face, keep that selected and go to "check holes" and use the automatic correction for face orientation. EASE will adjust all faces relative to the one that is selected.

Regarding holes please see this FAQ:

Ok I have tried again and it worked by creating a second face, it closed the holes.

I still have the problem of having double of the volume(m3) that is supposed to have.

Any ideas?

thanks!!
