when "use window before FFT" is applied, is the applied window then just at the very beginning and very end of the full length FFT, in other words, when I select "widowed" instead of "full", and then select User Defined for left or right hand window marker, does adjusting that window have any bearing on the "before FFT" window? I didn't think that it did, just want to make sure. Also, am I correct then in thinking that the "before FFT" window is a Tukey 50% at the beginning and end of whatever FFT length you've chosen for your measurement, and is unaffected by the "windowed" or "full" selection and user defined variables? That they are essentially 2 separate windows?

Hello Nick,
yes there are two different windows.
The Option "Use Window before FFT" is only for the FFT of the input. It is used the for every FFT of the length chosen in the FFT Size (Parameters window). Yes it is done at the beginning and at the end of every FFT length.
The selection at the right (Full / Windowed) is in the other context of the window chosen here manually.
