Am I missing something here?

Previously, on other measurement systems we had to set a delay to make the arrival and source transfer function work so that the magnitude was considering the source rather than including the full period of the IR. Is this being done on EASRA Systune automatically? How much time either side of the peak are included in the magnitude or is this all dependent on window settings? I want to know what this magnitude represents. Equivalent of a spectrum analyzer (time ignorant)? Help!

If time is considered...what happens when you are using multiple microphones at different arrival times?

Burtin,

Other software use fixed points per octave and it is crucial to set the measurement delay time in order to correctly position the IR.

SysTune, on the other hand, is capable of measuring the FULL impulse response. Here, you don't really need to compensate for the measurement delay (pressing Peak, for instance), unless the time shift is too large (say, more than 20% of the FFT length).

With SysTune you can set your Window in a custom way (or use the initial settings already defined). Please refer to the User Manual on how to apply windows and how to modifiy it's settings from the Options menu for your needs.

The Spectrograph is the one that more correctly correlates with a blind RTA (time ignorant)...

For multiple mics, you can set a delay for each input channel...
