Easera Systune on a Macbook Pro using Bootcamp

I am currently using the latest version of EASERA Systune.

My Macbook Pro is a new one with a 2.53GHZ dual core processor, 4GB of RAM and a 250GB Hard drive.

My external sound card is an Edirol UA-5 with a USB interface.

Does anyone have suggestions on how much hard drive space to partition for a Macbook Pro when setting up Boot Camp? Boot Camp has space restrictions from 5GB to 32GB in FAT. However, when using NTFS format there are no size limitations but, you are not able to access the data in MAC OS.

I guess another way to ask the question is there an advantage to staying in the FAT format or am I better off formatting NTFS without hard drive space limitations?

Hi Rick:

There are several utilities you can buy that will allow full read/write access from OSX of NTFS partitions, so that's not an issue. I allocated 10 GB for a Windows XP partition using FAT32 that I use with Boot Camp for my measurement software and ended up with more than half that space unused. I use a couple of dozen windows based measurement and prediction programs including Systune. I use the MacDrive utility within Windows XP to access the OSX partition and keep all my data in OSX folders, thus the XP partition usage remains constant.
