I cant seem to get the two to play nice together. when choosing an audio device I have many choices with two inputs thru the presonus. However to get the maximum usage and the full power of Easera I need to be able to use 6 to 8 mics which is only available in the Acio audiobox driver selection. when that is choosen the whole thing crashes. There is also no asio setup available.

Need Help

Vince,

As noted in my email, Presonus is sending us a unit to check. We will respond after we've had a chance to investigate.

Best regards,
Bruce

Hello Vince & Bruce

I am tring to get a Presonus Audiobox 44VSL to work with Systune. System runs using direct sound but when I select to use ASIO Systune shuts down.

What the trick to make it play nice?

Thanks

John

We expect to release a beta version of SysTune soon that will support the new Presonus drivers. EASERA support is expected later this year.

Thanks for the reply Bruce.

What sort of time frame are we looking at when you say "soon"? Are we talking about weeks, months or years?

When the beta version is release could look at some way of making sure that presonus users (like me) get in to the beta tester group?

Could someone update the online database to show that there is issues with the ASIO drives for the Presonus VSL range.

Thanks again for the quick reply , looking forward to seeing the beta come out.

Thanks

John

Hi John,

Hopefully it will be released in the next couple days. It depends on when it has passed our internal testing. You can register for the beta version here. The database was updated a few weeks ago to indicate you need a version greater than the current releases.

Thanks Bruce

A couple of days is a great outcome.

Just tried to register for the beta version but I don't think that the form likes my .net email address. Will find a .com tonight.

Your right the database does say >1.2.6 maybe we could write it a little more clearly like "currantly not working with ASIO waiting on update. "

Thanks

John

We have improved the ASIO module to accept the 1818vsl Audiobox driver now. The next update of EAERA can work with it.
