I am getting a error using the demo that reads:

"An error occured!
DS Measure - TimeOut Type: -100"

I am just using the demo- trying to do a basic measurement to sample the software and get this error every time.

Thanks,
Tom Donohue

Hi Tom,

thanks for the feedback. Indeed we are currently working on an update that is going to fix such an error. Just to be sure - what kind of computer hardware are you using?

When the error occured I was simply using my laptop's internal SigmaTel sound card and a cheap microphone to try and quickly sample the software interface.

Well, the SigmaTel is not very good. We have seen it in a lot of Dells recently.

But what processor, RAM, HD and OS are you using?

Have you tried any other computer? The trial version has two licences and if you have problems we can unlock another one also, no problem.

Dell Inspiron 5160:
Pentium4 3.2ghz
1GB RAM
60GB HDD
WinXP

I'll try another machine- or just get out the USB-pre

Thanks,
TD

Hi, yes, that seems to match our findings. We had the time-out error also for a computer with a clock rate slightly above 3GHz. It does not seem to occur for a much higher or much lower rate, though.

Should be fixed with the next update, which is expected for next week.

For the records: This problem was solved with EASERA version 1.0.46.
