Well, the data needs a bit of work. The SARNAM (small arms range noise assessment model program) data uses an equation based on their measurement data to calculate SEL levels at each horizontal angle, and we need to convert that or calibrate it to fit our measurements which consists of only a few points on the horizontal plane. I figure in the end it would only be an approximate model since we don't have any data in the vertical plane. I'm assuming that it would be symmetric.
(If the data is useful, do you think EASE will give us a free upgrade? ^^)
I also have a few questions.
1. In my model of the gun range I've put over 50 sources firing at the same time. The mapping seems to lump several sources into one. It seems to show only twelve sources in the mapping rather that the 50+ sources. Am I doing something wrong?
2. When I input the lobe data, do I need to enter the attenuation relative to 0 for the entire data including all the frequencies or do I need to treat the attenuation relative to 0 for each frequency?
3. Does the Sensitivity and Impedence play a large role in the data? If so any suggestions to what they should be?
