so, now i got it...
the support uploaded 2 new licences.
I deinstall all of systune and start installation again as you told above, bruce.
I create an extra WIN user for parallels to use systune there...
Installing everything as costum and ONLY for the current user... now it works!

Thanks Bruce!

BUT THE DONGLE LICENCE WOULD BE GREAT!!! PLEASE KEEP HOLD A HAND UP HIGH FOR IT!

Very Happy

I am currently using the 30 day trial, day three.
I have it running in Bootcamp and had it running in VMWare where I had to license it for the second time.
Today I reset my VM ware, using bootcamp windows. No problems so far.
Starting up Easera sytune gave problems with the license.
license manager tells me I have no more licenses, so I cant use Systune in VMware anymore. This is a Problem!!!

About using inputs from I.O. devices: try Soundflower or Jack.
these programs route signals through your mac, even from program to program.

I have no more experience with it as my license is gone for now.

Can I get some more??? only one mac!! different virtual computers...
It is not possible to use a single license for both Boot Camp and the Virtual Machine. It doesn't matter if this is Parallels or VMWare Fusion. Both of them modify the Boot Camp partition enough when running as a Virtual Machine (VM) that the licensing system sees this as a different hard drive, giving you the behavior that you have noted.

The solution is to create two users on the Windows side, then license one of them under Boot Camp, and the other one under Parallels or Fusion.

I will point out that the use of any audio application under a VM is not well supported at this time by either of these. FireWire doesn't work at all as there is almost no support, and USB only seems to support mouse, keyboard, and mass storage. I have not been able to get any USB audio device to be recognized in the VM.

So the use of EASERA Systune in the VM would force you into only the onboard audio card in the MacBook Pro. As most (all?) DSP applications run under Windows only, I don't see too much advantage for doing measurements using the VM.

Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused
