EASERA Gateway: input boost problems

Hello,

I have an icon on my desktop, that can change the hardware settings for my Gateway. It is possible to change the sampling frequency, the latency and the input level boost.

The problem is that I can't seem to change the input level boost. When I check the box for 12 dB level boost and press "Done", the input level seems to be the same. I have to have the gain on maximum to get acceptable input levels on my measurements.

Any comments?

Thanks

Hello Sverre,

please try the following again:
Start Easera with the Gateway and switch to Live.
Now you should see the input levels for the four input lines.
If you open now the EASERA Gateway control window and
change the input level boost, the shown input spectrum of the
corresponding line will change immediatly.
Be sure that you change the booster for the actually seen inut line.

If you cannot see the changed input level, try to start the Gateway control
window not from the desktop but from within EASERA.
To do that please click on the [Setup] button in the "Device Options" window
next to the combo box where the "EASERA GATEWAY ASIO Driver" is selected.

That's strange, I still did not get any difference between checking and unchecking the +12dB boost. Maybe I should install the drivers again?

Yes, if you tried the steps from Waldemar, and you did not see an immediate change, then there must be something wrong with the driver installation.

Disconnect the Gateway, use Add/Remove programs from Windows to remove the drivers, then start the driver install again.

Problem solved, I rebooted my computer. Smile
Thank you anyway.
