Is there a way to export frequency response data in text/ascii format, for use with other software such as Matlab?

Alternativelty, is there any documentation available regarding the .efr file format, and how to parse it?

Best wishes,
Jon.

Hello Jon,

frequency response data captured in the Live module can be exported directly to a text file. With EASERA 1.1 we will provide more functions to create ASCII files also from the View & Calc module, these include the text export of the spectrum (or the inverted spectrum) in different fractional resolutions and the newly developed ETX format to generate ASCII files with content equivalent to ETM/EFR.

EASERA 1.1 will be released shortly as a free upgrade for all EASERA users. It includes many major additions such as a completely revised calibration function, improved measurement setup, more labelling and legend features as well as numerous enhancements to the calculation routines. EASERA 1.1 will also include the TEF/TDS module that can be used along with the EASERA Gateway for software-based Time Delay Spectrometry.

The ETM and EFR formats are well-documented formats. Please contact us privately for more details.

Thank you, Stefan.

I am looking forward to the release of Easera 1.1, and will contact you privately regarding the EFR format.

Best wishes,
Jon.

Hi Jon,

I hope you already upgraded to EASERA 1.1 as it is free for all EASERA owners. The ETX format is now available as a text-based data exchange format for both time and frequency.

Thanks Stefan.

I will upgrade to 1.1 ASAP.
Is the .ETX format documented in the help file?
