small room AURA

Hi,
I used the AURA module to calculate the response of a rather simple rectangle small studio. When the frequency response option is invoked in the probe, there is a rather steep rollof beyond 10 KHz. I increased the number of particles (500 000), but the rolloff was still there. Any ideas?
I was also wondering what kind of approach (ie. which settings in ray tracing and mirror image method) people are using for the acoustic prediction of small rooms, whether they are diffuse in character or specular (the room I modeled was actually a studio with the insulation stage finished - no wall treatments beyond the drywall construction, I wanted to compare the measurements with the prediction).
Thanks.

Currently, the loudspeaker database is limited to 10kHz response, so that becomes the limit for any AURA calculations also.

Hi, please note that we have assembled a lot of information in our FAQ section: http://www.auralisation.de/faq/faq.php?cat=all

Especially with regard to AURA we are currently testing a Beta version where the parameters are calculated by the program depending on the room properties (mean free path length, volume etc.). The user only needs to specify the resolution (low, intermediate, high etc.).
