got this message today when trying to use some new speaker models. maybe somebody has seen this before? Its funny because the DLL is definately in the global speakers database folder, I dont understand why EASE wont see it.

EASE 4.1 EaseRoom

The Speaker Model C:Program FilesEASE 4.1EasepathEASE40DataGlobal Speakers40NEXOgeo-seriesgeoS8 could not be read.

Init DLL: DLL not found

Init SPK: Could not open file!

Hi Adam,

this directory is not recommendable for storing loudspeaker data. DLLs cannot be used when located in a directory path with a point *.*. This is a MS Windows problem as the dynamic link library fails to be loaded.

Use the suggested default directory c:ease40data or something similar. Make sure it does not contain a point *.* on any folder level.

THANK YOU! Wow, what an interesting solution. You are the man. Thanks so much... I never would have figured that one out on my own.
