I have a problem with EASE 4.1.0.7. I have just imported a hall from a dxf, checked the data, closed the holes, and now the room data say I have a negative volume, and the RT is wrong…most of the octave bands are negative times, and 6300Hz shoots up to 20 seconds. Any suggestions?

the project is can be downloaded at:

thanks,

denis.

Hi Denis,

This always indicates that the room is turned inside-out. To solve this, I usually select the face of the largest surface on the floor, Press I to Invert the face, and then use "Check Holes" in the Tools menu to flip all the other faces (Inverting all of them). This project has a few other problems that are then revealed, but it looks to me that it shouldn't take long to sort out.

Hi Denis,

we have been able to reproduce the problem and will now analyze it.
