Hi.
I am using Ease 4.4 Jr.,i am currently working reverberation time for a Event Hall with a stage and a large dome ceiling above an audience area.

Q1. Is my calculated RT60 is at center of the space?
Q2. is it possible on EASE to select several Measurement Points inside the space? ei. one at stage and one at audience area.

Hi,

1.) With EASE Jr you get a RT60 value for the room based on statistical calculation (Sabine or Eyring formula).

2.) For position depending RT calculation the EASE Standard version is needed.

You should also ideally use the AURA module with EASE Standard. You create these "measurement points" by running AURA Response at each EASE Listener Seat that you add to the 3D Model.

I am on a project where the customer wants to apply damping materials to diminish the echoes and reflections in a dome. I have EASEJR which I am certain will not provide the information I need so I am wondering if the upgrade and add-in modules will give me the information I need or do I need to look for a different software that is designed specifically for acoustic damping applications. Thanks in advance for you assistance with this issue.

EASE Standard with the Analysis Utility for Room Acoustics (AURA) module is specifically designed for your purpose. See https://ease.afmg.eu/index.php/AURA_Module.html
