When I use ease4.3 to simulate a train station sound environment,I met some problem of importing

the Sketchup model,I hope any friend can help me.
I have made a very detail sketchup model, and it is very accuracy, there is no holes, there is

only one closed space,I deleted the other ones very carefully.

Different color present different layer.

Infact when I import this model into EASE4.3,It passes the check holes and check data, And I can

comput the RT60 of the room(It seems to be right)

But when I use the Standard view-Render room(I have gave every face a material and a face texture

), I can't see most of the faces.
Just some lines and some small part faces.

And I use the Ray tracing the sound lines just go through of the faces ,no reflect at all ,when

it accident met the small faces show on the picture above,It reflected.

When I use the 2D mapping the sound is very uniform seems not be effected by the faces.

It is my first time use ease to simulate,I cost a lot of time on modeling.and the project is

very emergency,There is no time to remodel. Can any friend help me.I can afford my model ease

file and any files I have.

The Import from Sketchup has a bug in Version 4.3.9.
It will be fixed in the next upgrade.
In the mean while please use the work around to import from Sketchup.
If you have problems with the Render module, export the model and re-import it again.
After that procedure you will be able to use the Rendering in EASE without problems.

If you agree, please send me your model for investigation / improvement of the SKP Import routine. (wrichert@afmg.eu)

Hi, I did not get the model up to now.
Did you try the export to skp and re-import just after export?

The columns that go through the red leaf shaped objects will cause EASE to report a hole. The top of the column must interface with the red plane.

Based on my experience, EASE finds hollow tubes (like construction columns) running from ceiling to floor as holes in the ceiling and floor.

EASE treats faces enclosed in other faces as holes (even if there is no face, just the border for it), the solution to this is to link two vertices of the enclosed face to the enclosing face or make the enclosed face two-sided (this won't work in case of hollow columns). I hope I explained that clear enough.
Best to do is uncheck room open in room data tab and check holes.
