Hi masaya,

Thanks for the suggestion. We appreciate the feedback from our customers.

To evaluate the reflections pattern, usually it makes sense to analyse key representative seats. Assuming that selecting the whole area would be possible, you would still want to use this option in a limited number of points, with a low spatial resolution.

Currently you can create a grid of seats with any resolution you want in one step. They will be automatically added based on an Audience Area location. For this: select and right-click the Audience Area and select "Insert Seat Grid". You can define the spatial resolution for this grid of seats.
In the ray tracing module, you can then just select all these seats, just as it would if you could select an Area.
If you need to edit or remove the seats later, you can use the seats table.

Of course, we will also consider and discuss you suggestion.

Best Regards,
Pedro

Dear Pedro,

Thank you for your advice. I'm gonna try the way you suggested.

>To evaluate the reflections pattern, usually it makes sense to analyse key representative seats.

It seems the viewpoint from a receiving point (a seat).
I want to know how distribute reflections from a specific face to decide the face angle.
So I think "On Area" option is useful.
This is related to my another question "Can I see points rays reached to audience area without rays".

thanks,
Masaya
