I've been asked by a client what standards EASE works to, but there seems to be little information given in the software literature.

As far as I can see, the following are quoted by AFMG:
• Air absorption in accordance with ISO 9613 (Part 1 presumably)
• Speech intelligibility in accordance with EN 60268-16 2011
• A-weighted mappings as per IEC 61672

Are there any others that can be quoted, for example with respect to distance attenuation / inverse square law?

Thanks!

Hi Chris,

the room-acoustic standard ISO 3382

and IEC 61260 which covers octave and 1/3rd octave filters

are additionally implemented.

Thanks Frank

Can you confirm which part of ISO3382 is implemented in EASE? I'm interested as these are primarily standards for the measurement of room acoustics, as opposed to predictions.

Regards
Chris

Hi Chris,

e.g. parameter definitions and calculation methods like impulse response integration are implemented.
