Hi,
I've installed EASE on various machines including PC and Mac with Windows emulation and even multiple versions of windows as operating systems continue to bring new versions. EASE installation may be more involved than other software, but I generally have not had any significant issues.

Recently, though, I have attempted to install EASE on our corporate PC with Windows 7 and it's been difficult. Most of the issues were solved by always running EASE as an administrator, but I'm still having an issue with the EASE general options. In former installations, EASE usually starts with a 'default' setting for colors, and certain check boxes already checked in the File/options (F9) dialog box. My current installation always starts with all colors set as black and all check boxes blank.

How can I fix this? Is there a default file somewhere that has not been installed correctly?
Thanks for the support!

Dear hoppelrc,

Could you please send a description of the problem (above) along with screenshots/pictures and extra information you think might be important to support at afmg.eu ? This way we can have a better look at your problem.

Please also send a Status Report of your installation so we can check if all files are OK. To generate the report go to: Start > All Programs > AFMG > EASE > Tools > Create Status Report.

Kind Regards,
Pedro Lima

Found a workaround, wouldn't call it a solution.
I deleted the room30.ini in the program-directory
and hope there will be no awkward side-effects.

There is a Cleaning Wizard available:

http://ease.afmg.eu/index.php/ea-tools-en.html

which can be used to reset all EASE settings to default values.
