Hello,

I was calculating the Room Rt of a little room (201 m3). My problem is that I get the R times as minus numbers.
Even the volume of the room is shown as minus number.

What do I need to chance?

Thanks!

Greetings,
Dennis

Hi,

Your Faces are probably inverted. Their yellow side must face the room inside (white side -> room outside).

Hi Pedro,

Thanks for your fast reaction.

Could the faces be outsides even wenn there are no holes in my room?

Regards,
Dennis

Yes, if they ALL have inverted orientations EASE won´t complain. But it will show a negative volume, which will be obviously wrong and from now on you will know the cause Wink

Quick fix: Pick a Face and be sure it has correct orientation (if not, press I to invert it). With the Face selected, go to Tools > Check Holes. Uncheck all checkboxes and mark only Auto- Orientation. Then, press Close Holes.

This should fix all other Faces having the selected Face as reference.

Regards,
Pedro
