EASE Calculation Option Defaults Question

Sorry if I've missed something obvious, but is there a way to set the default options for calculations?

It gets pretty boring to have to set the same options every single time, and wait for EASE to re-calculate.

For example I would have these as defaults:

BroadBand
A-Weighted (not sure why this is not default anyway)
STIPa Male
Consider Noise Levels
Consider Signal Masking

Thanks,

Rupert

Hello Rupert,

unfortunately these options can't be stored.

Rupert,

There is one detail that might help, though.

After performing a Map, if you do NOT close the View Calculation Window and also the Area Mapping Module, you can keep view the results of a new Mapping with the same settings. For that, make a change in the Room Editor (corresponding to the change you would do normally), press Check Data, and in Area Mapping module, Acquire Data. EASE will ask if you would like to map again. You can press yes or you can choose a different mapping type from the top menu, as Mapping > Standard or Standard with Reflections.

As long as you don't close the window, the settings are kept...

Hope this helps,
Pedro

Thanks Frank; I didn't think there was, but I would be kicking myself if I had missed something simple.

Thanks Pedro, that's a handy tip when making changes to the same model.

Best regards,

Rupert

If STI is selected in area mapping and you change any of the options for STI, EASE will recalculate for each time any option is changed. But for example if direct coverage is selected in area mapping, EASE won't automatically recalculate.
