I finally have a need for SysTune's web based remote control function. I experimented with it a while ago and it worked fine, but it appears to me that the "upgrade" to iOS v6.0.1 in both my iPad3 and iPhone4S has broken this feature.

What are your findings? If I'm correct, please update the NGINX Webserver to deal with Apple's arrogance, thank you. :)

---

Just found an older MacBook with OSX 10.5 and Safari 5 on it and it worked perfectly as a remote.

I never bothered looking for another browser for the iPad, but that very well may be the solution...

---

Sure enough, the Google Chrome browser for the iPad works nicely with the NGINX Webserver. :)

Dear Mr. Holland,

Thank you for your comments.

Yes, we have identified that the Web Interface functionality is compromised after upgrading iOS devices to iOS 6, for Safari browser. The fix should be available in the subsequent version.

As a workaround, we have been suggesting SysTune users to use other compatible third party browser, as Google Chrome. The Web Interface I should work fine again. For more information about compatible browsers, please refer to SysTune User's Guide.

Kind Regards,
Pedro

As does Google Maps, in case you got lost with the "other" solution. Wink

Oops, sorry for that OT diversion down another rabbit hole. My bad.
