Noisy Faces

I'm wondering if it is possible to give a level of 'noise' to a 'Face'.

For example, I am modelling a room with a significantly large Air Conditioning duct through the centre of the room - This is modelled similar to a horizontal cylinder within the room.
The A/C duct represents a measureable level, behaving almost as a line array noise source. I would like to see how this A/C noise affects modelled values for intelligibility etc... in combination with a proposed audio system.

I have also considered modelling a whole series of loudspeakers at the A/C duct location to represent similar levels to the A/C.

Any ideas greatly appreciated.

Hi Tim,

In a word, No.

The noise in any case is a global value. To do want you want to do, there are two ways. Use seats and AURA to calculate an AURA Response, then either export this from the probe to an MTF table and add the noise, or save it as a BIR file and use EASERA to add the noise and calculate the STI.
