Hello Amiro,

In brief the steps are as follows:
  1. Create a New Project in EASE
  2. Edit Project
  3. Add all the materials from the Full folder under the Global Materials40\American Base folder
  4. Save and the Close Edit Project
  5. Select Import/Export
  6. Waste the Project
  7. Keep the Materials Database
  8. DXF Import

This then creates a list of materials that will then be mapped to colors, etc. in the import process from AutoCAD.

Hello Amiro,

if you have reached step 5 of the Bruce-Table, then you clicked File.Import/Export and then Tools.Import DXF. As reaction to this click you will be asked "Waste Data of XYZ?" Here you have to click on YES. The next question "Waste Speaker/Material Base too?" answer with NO. Then you can import the DXF with all the 8 Materials of the original project.

Unfortunatly your re-imported project has now 187 materials. Yor can remove the 179 unused eith the following clicks:
1) open 'Room Edit'
2) open 'Modify Data'
3) Edit menu
4) Select Project Database
5) Select Wall Materials
6) Click on 'used' column, then all used materials will be at the top of the list
7) Select all 'No' used
Cool Remove

Maybe in the following you have to consider the Speaker-Base also.
Please use the speakers from your original project because the SR6/9 and the SR81/9 speakers from Renkus-Heinz have now an additional 'k' at the end.
