Hi everyone of SDA,
I think there is a Bug in the Signal Generator Funktion, because, it is not possible to create an real Weighted-Sweep-Stimulus.
I can create this but it always sounds like a White-Sweep, and not as a Weighted Sweep.
Please check out...

Best regards
Tobi

Hi Tobi,

I have just checked this and it seems to be okay. After you have created the file you can then load the file and view it in View & Calc. If you look at the Magnitude of the test signal you will see a horizontal line for the White Sweep, a slanted line for the Pink (or Log) Sweep and a squiggly S-shaped line for the Weighted Sweep.

Hi Bruce,
thanks for your fast reply.
OK, I have watched the magnitude of my created Weighted Sweep and everything seems to be fine...But when I lisen to this signal it seems to be completly different, comparing to a standard Weighted Sweep (same options).
Could it be that the standard sweeps are „Weighted“ or „Pink“ on the time axis too, like speeding up ? And the own created signals are only energy Weighted / Pink ?

Best regards
Tobi

They should be the same. You can check them in the same way, too. They are located in the Signals folder, in the System folder under EASERA10DATA.

Hi Bruce,
I have creaeted a Weighted Sweep with 48kHz Sample Rate, 5,5s length, from 10Hz to 24 kHz with a Magnitude of 0dB, saved this and compared this to the Standard Weighted Sweep (System Signal). But the result is not the same, something is strange ... The magnitude is falling and the time axis weighting (speeding up is ) completly different.

Everything seems to be OK with the Pink Sweeps

Best regards
Tobi
