I use EASE 4.1 with the latest DSA dll. The 'direct-spl' plot in the standard EASE calculation module looks good and reliable.
However other calculations like 'D/R Ratio' or 'Critical Distance' are obviously wrong and 'Arrival Time' delivers negative values!

If I run Aura Mapping Calculations, I get the following messages after 50% of the processing:
- "Error during Run(2): Error 0"
- "Error Description1: System Exception caught while processing Ray Simulation session"
- "Resources successfully released"

Furthermore calculation times are quite long compared with other dll's.

I guess this are knwon problems. Are there some limitations to consider?
Are there any solutions/explanations/comments for this?

Hi Daniel,

we have heard about such problems from another EASE user some time ago. But as we are not responsible for the data of a manufacturer we can hardly tell what may cause the errors. Therefore we must ask you to turn to the manufacturer, in this case EAW for further assistance. I apologize for this inconvenience.

I have had a few problems with the DSA dll file as well. Have you tried using the DSA pilot software to aim the array, and then exporting an ascii file which you can import with EASE speakerbase? It's a little more work, but it ends up simulating the array as one source, which speeds up EASE calculations significantly.

Hope this helps,
Don
